The Lea County Commission for the Arts and Hobbs Municipal Schools are proud to present nationally-renowned global multi-instrumentalist, Todd Green. Todd, who has been writing and performing his own music professionally since the age of fifteen, has astounded audiences across the country with his original music performed on over 30 different string, flute and percussion instruments from all over the world. As fascinating to watch as to listen to, Todd intersperses his playing with entertaining explanations of the music and the instruments. Prepare to be amazed! Todd Green will present a free lecture demonstration on Tuesday, March 7th, 1pm at Nelson Tydings Auditorium, 800 N. Jefferson Street in Hobbs. Lea County Museum Director, Jim Harris will serve as the lecture evaluator and New Mexico Junior College English professor, Pete Mladinic will serve as the moderator. All three lecture demonstrations are free and open to the public. The lecture series is funded in part by the Western States Arts Federation, National Endowment for the Arts, New Mexico Arts and a grant from the New Mexico Humanities Council.
