Water on the Border, featuring work by The Border Artists art organization of Las Cruces, opens in the Branigan Cultural Center Friday, June 30, and continues through Saturday, Sept. 16. An artists’ reception will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, July 7.
The exhibition will feature works in multiple mediums that address the topic of water in the Rio Grande US/Mexico border region. Themes include water and community, water scarcity, and water as it relates to the individual. Works by 19 artists will be on display.
The museum is located at 501 N. Main St. and is open 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday. For more information, visit the website at: museums.las-cruces.org or call 575-541-2154.
